Welcome to Fall!
We’ve got a variety of new adventures to celebrate this season of cooler temperatures and the beautiful, colorful outdoors! In this Fall edition, read more about the “Trackless Train,” a partnership to offer the community an all-aboard outdoor venture plus learn more about the recent improvements to the James City County Marina. New fall programming includes a host of art classes for youth and adults featuring Glow-in-the-Dark painting sessions, hiking and biking outings in our local parks and exploring Freedom Park after dark with new Moon Hikes. Come create in holiday pottery workshops and learn Halloween makeup tips from the professionals! We’re offering more than 10 special events to make the season festive – returning favorites include the outdoor concert series in New Town, Harvest Festival, Boo Bash at the Beach and Breakfast with Santa!
We’re Hiring too! Needed are lifeguards, Park Attendants…including Trackless Train operators, Recreation Leaders, Customer Service representatives, instructors and more. If providing outstanding customer service with passion is a position that you can fill, we want to meet you! Please apply online.
