Historical Commission Meeting

The mission of the Historical Commission is to further the efforts of the County to document, commemorate, preserve, protect, and promote the rich historical heritage of James City County. Their upcoming meeting is open to the public, and will take place Thursday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at the James City County Recreation Center. More information.

Join the party at the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center on Friday, June 1, 5:30-8 p.m. Enjoy arts & crafts, fitness demonstrations, dance music, inflatables, big trucks, food, prizes, community garden tours and more! All ages welcome. This event is free and open to the public. More information.

Jamestown Jams

Jamestown Jams Concert Series

James City County is pleased to announce its Jamestown Beach Event Park concert series, Jamestown Jams, is returning for the third year. Come and enjoy free live music on May 25, June 21, July 27 and Aug. 31.

Each concert will have a theme and feature different performers:
  • Friday, May 25, Motown Night featuring Groove Motive
  • Thursday, June 21, "The Originals" Songwriter Showcase by Iota Creative Collective
  • Friday, July 27, Country Night featuring Harley Boone
  • Friday, Aug. 31, 80s night featuring The Deloreans, America's Favorite 80s Showband
Entrance will open for each Jamestown Jams concert at 5:30 p.m. Concerts will take place on a grassy field within Jamestown Beach Event Park. See you there!  More information.
