Input Needed in Search for Next County Administrator

As we recruit for our next County Administrator, the Board of Supervisors seeks the input of James City County residents, staff and others who are interested on what type of individual would best fill the role. We want to hear from you. Please take our survey and let us know what you think. Responses are due by April 16, 2018. Details.

Expect Some Lane Closures This Week

Lanes in certain areas in and around James City County will close the week of April 8-14 to allow for work to be done on the I-64 Widening Project. These will include single-lane closures on I-64 east and west from Colonial Parkway to Lee Hall, and some closures one mile east of the Route 199 Lightfoot exit. Plan accordingly, and be safe! Details.

Reminder: Community Budget Meetings are Coming Up!

We'd like your input! James City County's Board of Supervisors will host two meetings to discuss the proposed FY2019-20 biennial budget and get feedback from citizens. The meetings will take place April 12 at Legacy Hall, 4301 New Town Avenue; and April 16 at James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Road. Both begin at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome! Details.
