Bring a Friend to the Neighborhood Forum on Jan. 10

Economic Development Director Amy Jordan will be the featured speaker at the Neighborhood Forum on Jan. 10, 2018, 6:30 p.m. at the James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road. 
 
Master Police Officer Alan McDowell will provide the regular Police update. All County residents are invited to attend.  Come join the conversation, ask questions, and feel free to bring a friend.

Free Christmas Tree Recycling

Through Jan. 31, James City County residents can recycle Christmas trees free of charge at any County Convenience Center during normal operating hours. The Centers are located at 117 Tewning Road, 1204 Jolly Pond Road and 185 Industrial Boulevard. All decorations and tree stands must be removed prior to recycling.

Community Recreation Plan Survey

Parks & Recreation is updating its recreation plan for the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, located in the Grove community adjacent to James River Elementary School, and we want to hear from you!

Please complete the survey online or pick up a copy at one of several designated locations. You are also encouraged to attend one of the two Community Recreation Plan Share sessions on Jan. 30.  Details.

Police Launch New Website

Police have launched a new website providing convenience to citizens and greater access to public information. The Police to Citizen (P2C) site interfaces with our existing Records Management System to provide information to citizens at any time of day.

P2C provides numerous features such as daily incident and arrest bulletins, bicycle registration, warrant list, house check requests and online access to accident reports. Details.
