Survey Deadline: Friday, May 15

The Virginia Chamber of Commerce is requesting businesses complete the Blueprint to Get Virginians Back to Work Survey. The survey is 14 questions and should take about five minutes to complete. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NWSZB7N

Personal Property/Real Estate Taxes Due by June 5, Late Payment Penalty Waived Until Aug. 5, 2020

James City County Personal Property and Real Estate tax bills have been mailed and are due Friday, June 5. If you do not receive your tax bill by May 15, please call the Treasurer’s Office at 757-253-6705. Taxes are still due even if you did not receive the bill. More information

The U.S. FDA has released a new checklist for restaurants that are reopening. There is also a printable PDF version.


Greater Williamsburg Small Business Relief Fund

The Greater Williamsburg Small Business Relief Fund remains open and continues to accept applications. The Williamsburg Community Foundation has already disbursed $15,000 to local businesses.

The Governor of Virginia has published regulations, guidelines and best practices for a variety of business sectors as Phase One of Forward Virginia begins on Friday, May 15. There is also a printable PDF available online. You can find the press release about Phase One online.
