[ARCHIVED] Parks & Recreation Master Plan, share your thoughts!

_PR Master Plan_Flash_2016.jpg

James City County Parks & Recreation is updating its most important document  – the Master Plan, the department’s guide for developing the programs, parks and facilities you need. The Master Plan is being formally revised and now is the time to tell us your and your family’s priorities over the next 5 years and beyond.

Take the survey!

The 10-minute survey is available online, and offers you an opportunity to share your thoughts on existing parks, programs and facilities and to suggest any needed services. Paper copies of the survey are available at the James City County Recreation Center, Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, Chickahominy Riverfront Park Guest Services, Freedom Park Interpretive Center and the Satellite Services Office. The survey deadline has been extended through Dec. 4.

A special thanks to everyone who participated in the four Community Meetings, promoted and held throughout the County in November and to the community organizations who invited us to make presentations to their groups and neighborhood associations. The meeting results are being compiled and will be released in in January. For more information on the process, email parks.rec@jamescitycountyva.gov or call 757-259-5415.
