[ARCHIVED] Enjoy Bountiful Brews & Bites at Jamestown Beach Event Park

Bountiful Brews and Bites

James City County is pleased announce that the second annual Bountiful Brews & Bites (BB&B) event will be held on Nov. 11. The event is an affordable outdoor festival with live music, food trucks and fireworks. BB&B will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park. BB&B is part of the Williamsburg Harvest Celebration (WHC), which runs Nov. 4-13. Live music will occur from 6-8 p.m. from the Kevin Mac Band. Led by Kevin Mac, the band combines original songs with classic covers and mixes in impromptu inspiration from the audience. Mac has played a variety of Virginia-based festivals and events this year including the last two Bier Fests at Busch Gardens. Mac was raised in Virginia and currently lives in Nashville, TN. “I’m a simple guy. I feed off of the energy from the crowd and I love to tell a story,” said Mac. “There’s nothing that makes me happier.” There will be fireworks at 8:15 p.m. Tickets for BB&B are now on sale at williamsburgharvestcelebration.com. Tickets are $10 and provide entrance to the festival. All food and adult beverages are a la carte. Hot chocolate, coffee and water will be available. A variety of local and regional food trucks will be present at the event. Follow our Facebook event for announcements. The event will feature a variety of craft beers and cider along with wine from the Williamsburg Winery. IDs are required for age verification. All beer and cider proceeds will go to the United Way of Greater Williamsburg and will support their annual campaign. As a WHC event, a portion of BB&B ticket sales will go to FISH, Meals on Wheels, Fresh Food Fund and the Southern Foodways Alliance. There are a variety of WHC events in James City County including five events at the Williamsburg Winery, two events at La Tienda, three events at Capriccio Ristorante, a special event at Busch Gardens, a fish fry at Anvil Campground and the annual Chowder Fest.
