During the August Clean County Commission meeting, we welcomed our new dolphin mascot to join us at outreach events and help spread the word about litter prevention. The commissioners also discussed the 3rd Annual Litter & Recycling Expo to take place on Oct. 22 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Warhill Sports Complex. The Commission will partner with the Parks and Recreation department to showcase the launch of the new and improved Parks Recycling Plan. Activities, games, demonstrations and giveaways will highlight improved recycling opportunities at the Sports Complex as well as general litter and recycling education.
