[ARCHIVED] The Big Bluesy debuts in James City County

The Big Bluesy

Enjoy a new blues music festival hosted by CultureFix at Jamestown Beach Event Park on September 17 and 18. The event will feature continuous live music from 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 17 and from noon until 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 18. The awesome lineup will be accompanied by food truck concessions, local craft beer and wine.

The lineup of fantastic bands and musicians includes:

Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos
Forrest McDonald Band
Slam Allen
Bobby BlackHat Band feat. Dirty Red
Herbie D and the Dangermen
The Bush League
Billy Joe Trio featuring Billy Joe Daniel
The Groove Cats
In Layman Terms
The Doc Robin Band
On The Verge
Atiba Taylor
Andrew Ballantyne
Dikon and Vallet
Amy Ferebee

And last, but certainly not least, the weekend will be MC'd by the incomparable Bobby “BlackHat” Walters :)

Tickets are on sale to the public for weekend passes or single day passes. They may be purchased through If tickets are still available, The Big Bluesy will have onsite ticketing at the gate. Please note that there will be escalated pricing and all ticket types may not be available.
