Comments will be accepted through July 15, 2016 on the draft bacteria clean-up plan for the Powhatan, Mill and Skiffes Creeks. The plan, known as the Powhatan, Mill and Skiffes Creeks TMDL Action Plan, describes actions the County is taking to improve water quality in the streams. Planning to improve the streams is a requirement of the County’s stormwater permit.
Written comments may be submitted via mail at 107 Tewning Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188 or to stormwater@jamescitycountyva.gov . Responses to the submitted comments and the final Action Plan will be posted no later than Sept. 1, 2016.
