The Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, located at 8901 Pocahontas Trail, will be closed June 17-Aug. 21 for roof repairs. The Center, which adjoins James River Elementary School, is part of the overall school maintenance plan.

During the closure, Frink patrons holding adult and senior passes can use them at the James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road during regular operating hours: Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m.-9 p.m., Fridays, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturdays, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays, 1-6 p.m.

Frink patrons ages 5-17 holding free youth passes will need to purchase a youth pass to use the Longhill facility. Youth passes (ages 5-17) are $25 for three months for James City County and Williamsburg residents.

The Frink Center is scheduled to reopen on Aug. 22. For more information, please call 757-259-4200.
