Due to the forecast for inclement weather including the potential for heavy rainfall during the event timeframe, Boo Bash at the Beach scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14 has been canceled. We invite you to participate in our other upcoming Halloween-themed activities:

Looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate Halloween? Kids can use their imaginations and experiment with a variety of materials to turn their pumpkins into unique works of art. From glitter and paint to pom poms and googly eyes, the possibilities are endless. No carving involved. Please bring a medium-sized pumpkin to class. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. $15. Instructor: Kidcreate Studio. 

Ghostly Goo • Ages 4-9 NEW!
Friday, Oct. 27, 5-6:30 p.m.

Slippery, slimy, spooky… BOO! It’s Halloween, so we’re making ghostly goo! Create customized Halloween slime, then dress up a spooky jar to keep it in. Monsters, bats, ghosts, pumpkins and more! Children are invited to wear their costumes to class for extra Halloween fun. $25. Instructor: Kidcreate Studio.
Halloween House Decorating Workshop • Ages 6-13 NEW!
Friday, Oct. 20, 5-7 p.m.

Decorate your own haunted house! Create a spooky scene that will be the perfect centerpiece for your Halloween decorations. All materials and decorations will be edible. Please note any food allergies at time of registration. $25. Instructor: The Williamsburg Chocolatier, Inc.

El Dias de los Muertos Spooky Crafts • Ages 9-14 NEW!

El Día de los Muertos, also known as the Day of the Dead, is a popular holiday in Latin America where families come together to celebrate and honor their ancestors. We’ll decorate sugar skulls and make traditional crafts. $25. Instructor: Paula Harris Guerra.

Freedom Park Full Moon Hikes: Hunter’s Moon • All Ages FREE!
Saturday, Oct. 28, 6:30-7:30 p.m. 
Freedom Park 
Come explore us AFTER DARK during the full moon! Freedom Park closes at sunset; however, Multiuse Trail 3 only reopens for this self-guided hike on select nights. After sunset, visitors may use Multiuse Trail 3 only, all other areas of the park are closed. The full moon hikes use an out-and-back one-mile, paved ADA-compliant trail winding through wooded forest and the Colby Swamp. Users must depart Multiuse Trail 3 by the closing time. No registration required. Weather permitting.
