Parking fees are charged for nonresidents at Jamestown Beach Event Park Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Effective Saturday, May 27 through Monday, Sept. 4, the nonresident fee is charged Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
There is no parking fee for James City County and City of Williamsburg residents (must physically reside in the County or City). To avoid paying the parking fee, residents should bring with them proof of residency: a valid driver’s license or valid Virginia identification card that shows current address. If the driver’s license or identification card does not show current address, residents may present a current lease agreement, utility bill or voter registration card along with ID.
Parking decals for residents are no longer issued; however, previously issued decals are still valid, provided the decal is readable. Decals which are not readable will no longer be valid and will not be replaced.
