The James City Clean County Commission and the Williamsburg Botanical Garden and Freedom Park Arboretum (WBG-FPA) are partnering for the third annual Earth/Arbor Day Plant-A-Tree ceremony on Saturday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m. The event will be at Freedom Park (5537 Centerville Road) in the garden located in the roundabout on Hotwater Trail (NOTE: not the Free Black Settlement).
This year a Hackberry tree will be planted. This event marks the opening of the WBG-FPA’s annual “Plants with a Purpose” plant sale. There will also be giveaways including seeds, DIY bird feeders and more! The event is free, and no registration is required. Come enjoy this family friendly event!
