[ARCHIVED] Pennsylvania Amishlands Tour June 14-16

Lounge Flash

This three-day, two-night excursion to Lancaster, Pennsylvania features a tour of a working Amish farm and countryside, a live onstage performance of “David” at the Sight and Sound theatre plus lots of local shopping & fine dining! The trip is Tuesday, June 14 through Thursday, June 16, aboard a chartered motor coach bus. Trip departs from and returns to the James City County Recreation Center (JCCRC), 5301 Longhill Road. 

The trip is offered as part of James City County's "The Lounge" programming , designed specifically for those age 55+. The cost is $489/person for double occupancy and $589/person for single occupancy. The fee includes round-trip motor coach transportation, two nights lodging at the Hampton Inn Lancaster, two breakfasts, two dinners and all admission fees, gratuities and taxes. Registration and full payment are due by May 13. A payment plan option is also available (see below). 

Trip Itinerary 
Tuesday June 14
9 a.m.: Depart JCCRC on chartered motor coach
Lunch at Olive Garden (on your own)
Dutch village shopping and dinner
@7:30 p.m. - Hotel check-in 

Wednesday, June 15
6-9 a.m.: Breakfast at hotel 
Amish Village and countryside tour
Lunch at Agape Café & Grille (on your own)
3 p.m.: “David” live stage performance
Millers Smorgasbord dinner
Return to Hotel

Thursday June 16
6-9 a.m.: Breakfast/Hotel check-out 
Mini horse farm visit
Lunch at Park City Diner (on your own)
6 p.m.: Return to JCCRC 

To hold your space, payments can be made in monthly increments, paid in full by May 13:
Double/person:
Payment #1 - $244
Payment #2 - $245

Single/person:
Payment #1 - $294
Payment #2 - $295

Registration for the trip is not guaranteed until full payment is received. 
Maximum of eight single rooms and 15 double rooms available.
Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. 
Limited space, register early! For more information on registration, payments, cancellations and refunds, please call 757-259-4178. 

Trip/Travel Tips:
● You do not have to be a member of "The Lounge" to register.
● Times are approximate and dependent on traffic conditions.
●Travel food locations are non-negotiable due to time constraints. 
● Free time is on your own; you are responsible for getting yourself back to the arranged pick up point on time. 
● You are responsible for any additional room charges beyond prepaid room and tax.
● Motorized scooters cannot be accommodated.
● Detailed itinerary provided to participants upon final payment.  
● Staff and volunteers are not considered caregivers or aids.
● Activity Level = Moderate to high for considerable amounts of walking.
