[ARCHIVED] Crews Respond to a Fire in Raintree Villas

On January 30 at 4:59 p.m., Emergency Communications received a call about a fire in the 100 block of Raintree Way in the Raintree Villas subdivision. Units from the James City County Fire Department responded and arrived on scene at 5:06 p.m. to find a two-story home with fire on the second floor. Crews quickly contained the fire to the room of origin however the home sustained smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The York County Department of Fire and Life Safety and Williamsburg Fire Department assisted.
