[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate Larcenies from Unlocked Vehicles

Crime Alert

In the overnight hours of Sept. 22 to Sept. 23, numerous incidents of theft from unlocked vehicles and vehicle tampering occurred in the County. Vehicles were tampered with and entered in Steeplechase Apartments and Villages at Candle Station. Items stolen include an Apple watch and cash.

 

If you saw anything suspicious, know who may have been involved or have home security video camera systems, including doorbell cameras, that may have captured suspicious person(s) or vehicle(s) during this time, please contact Investigator Sten at 757-603-6044 or leslie.sten@jamescitycountyva.gov, Tipsters may also call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit tips online at p3tips.com. Callers to the Crime Line and P3 Tips users may remain anonymous, do not have to testify in court and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest.
