[ARCHIVED] Police Offer Bike Rodeo

Bike Rodeo

Join us for a Bike Rodeo on July 17 at Clara Byrd Baker Elementary School at 3131 Ironbound Road, 9-11 a.m. Preregistration is required, and space is limited.

A Bike Rodeo is designed for new or inexperienced bikers to help improve their riding skills. Kids of all ages that are new to riding a bike are invited to attend. Participants will be instructed on the proper way to wear a helmet, use of hand signals and how to steer and maneuver while riding a bike. Participants will also ride through several different types of courses that are designed to build the confidence of the new rider. Bike Rodeos are a fun and interactive way for children to learn the important rules of the road.

Please contact Master Police Officer Ben Woodhouse at 757-259-5150 or with any questions about the program.
