Police Make Arrest in Larcenies from Unlocked Vehicles

Larcenies from Unlocked Vehicles Arrest

On May 27 at approximately 3:45 a.m., two unknown males were seen on multiple residential security cameras pulling on car door handles and entering unlocked vehicles in the White Hall subdivision. Multiple items were stolen, to include three firearms. Both males appeared to get into a red SUV and leave the area.

The following day, JCCPD Investigators were contacted by Prince George County Police Department (PGCPD) regarding the arrest of two individuals the day prior that matched the description of the two suspects in the JCC incidents. Quantrell Chandler (18-years-old of Hopewell, VA) and Stanley Harris (23-years-old of Prince George, VA) had been taken into custody by PGCPD on unrelated charges on May 27.

JCC Investigators interviewed Chandler and Harris at Riverside Regional Jail in Prince George County. Subsequently, charges were taken out on both subjects related to the JCC incidents. Chandler (pictured on the left) is charged with possession of a stolen firearm, grand larceny of a firearm, conspiracy to commit grand larceny of a firearm and larceny with intent to sell (all felonies). Harris (pictured on the right) is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a stolen firearm, grand larceny of a firearm and conspiracy to commit grand larceny of a firearm (all felonies). Additional charges are expected. Both Chandler and Harris are being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond.
