Lounge Walk-About Program
If you're an active adult age 55 or better, come take advantage of the Lounge Walk-About Program. Come inside the James City County Recreation Center and walk off winter's chill on the indoor walking track. Pedometers are available to help keep track of how many loops you walk - 11 loops or walks around track equals one mile.
This opportunity is open to Lounge members and is available beginning March 1 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-11:30 a.m. Lounge membership is required and the cost is $65/year for James City County and Williamsburg residents and $75/year for nonresidents. Daily Lounge activities are currently closed in compliance with COVID guidelines. However, if you prefer the Center's walking track for your sole source indoor exercise, the annual fee of Lounge membership and use of the walking track is a savings over the Center's senior membership rate.
