James City County emergency officials are monitoring the potential for a significant icing event across much of Virginia through the weekend.Stay Informed Residents should continue to monitor the weather and local media for the latest updates. Text messages charges may apply.Road Conditions Primary and secondary roads in the County are wet and/or slushy and as temperatures drop are expected to become icy.During and after the storm, stay off the roads as much as possible to allow VDOT crews to treat the roadways.
