COVID-19 vaccine distribution, which is being coordinated by the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), has begun in James City County.

As part of phase 1a, vaccination for James City County’s emergency medical services (EMS) employees began on Jan. 4 and will continue over the coming weeks.

James City County has been in regular communication with VDH officials, and we hope to gain more details about phases 1b and 1c soon. To learn more about VDH’s COVID-19 vaccination response, visit the VDH website or call the VDH hotline, 877-ASK-VDH3 (877-275-8343).
