The Economic Development Authority (EDA) of James City County approved their 2021 meeting calendar at its December meeting. The monthly EDA meetings will occur on the third Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. except for the December 2021 meeting, which will be on the second Tuesday. Meetings are currently held electronically.

Additionally, officers were reelected for 2021. Vincent Campana Jr. was reappointed to serve as chair and Thomas Tingle will serve as vice-chair again. Campana is a broker with Campana Waltz Real Estate and Tingle is the president of GuernseyTingle Architects.

At a later date, the EDA will approve its 2021 meeting calendar for its Real Estate Committee. The calendar will be available online. The Real Estate Committee is a three-member subcommittee of the EDA.

The EDA is a seven-member volunteer board whose members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and serve staggered four-year terms. The Authority’s mission is to assist and support James City County and the Office of Economic Development in fostering the development and expansion of a diversified and health base of primary businesses and industry to balance the tax base, increase job opportunities, enhance the quality of life in James City County and perform required statutory roles.
