[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate Robberies at 7-Eleven

7-Eleven Robbery Suspects

Update: Further investigation has revealed that the robbery at the 7-Eleven at 7211 Richmond Road actually occurred at 2:06 a.m. but was not reported until later in the morning. The release has been updated with the correct time.


On Oct. 6 at approximately 2:06 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7211 Richmond Road in Norge to a robbery. Two unidentified males entered the store and demanded money while one brandished a large fixed blade knife. The two suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise from the store.

York Poquoson Sheriff’s Office K9 also responded and assisted JCCPD with searching the area.

At approximately 2:49 a.m., two unidentified males matching the description of the two involved in the previous incident entered the 7-Eleven located at 8185 Croaker Road and demanded money. No weapon was displayed during this incident. The clerk was uncooperative, and the two suspects fled without any money or merchandise.

There were no injuries in either incident.

The two suspects were seen in a small blue or black sedan.
