The Sipping Flea held a ribbon cutting and grand opening for its new space at 6965 Richmond Road in Colonial Towne Plaza. The new business offers a coffee shop nestled between its two sister locations, The Flipping Flea and Flipping Flea #2. Jeff and Nancy Lee own The Sipping Flea.

The Sipping Flea offers a variety of beverages including coffee, tea and smoothies. They also have freshly made mini donuts, free WIFI inside along with dog-friendly outdoor seating. Donuts include powdered sugar, cinnamon and sugar and a variety of iced and topped donuts. Toppings include lemon, blueberry, apple or Nutella. Icings include chocolate, maple, caramel or strawberry and toppings like sprinkles, chocolate chips, coconut or bacon.

In addition to traditional coffees and teas, there are numerous specialty drinks with dog-themed names like “Bulldog” and “Puppy Kisses.” The Sipping Flea also offers floats and hot chocolate.

“In 2018 when I opened The Flipping Flea, I had no idea that we would eventually open The Flipping Flea #2 and The Sipping Flea. I am excited to open a coffee shop that will be the perfect stop between visiting our two existing locations in the Colonial Towne Plaza,” said Nancy Lee.

The Sipping Flea offers online ordering on their website.
