James City County (JCC) and Kingsmill Resort have launched the annual “Tee” Design Contest for the 2016 Kingsmill Championship. The winning design will be printed on t-shirts given to participants in the 2016 Junior Clinic on Saturday, May 21 during the Kingsmill Championship. The winner will also receive a prize package from Kingsmill Resort.
Designs are welcomed from children ages 5-12 that participate in REC Connect (before and after-school programming) or are JCC residents. Children who participate in private or homeschooling are welcome to participate as long as they are County residents.
Designs should incorporate golf, James City County and the LPGA. The deadline for entries is April 1, 2016. Designs should be in landscape layout and use no more than five colors. Black is suggested to outline the design. All designs must include an entry form when submitted. There are three entry forms: REC Connect participants (#1), private school students and JCC residents. Each form has directions on how to drop off.
All entries from a school should be turned in to the school’s designated contact. Resident entries can be turned in to the lobby of Building D at the County Government Center located at 101 Mounts Bay Road.
This contest is a partnership between James City County and Kingsmill Resort. All entries will be judged anonymously by a panel of judges. There is no cost to participate. Entry forms are available online: thekingsmillchampionship.com/jcc-tee-shirt-contest.php.
