[ARCHIVED] Police Invite You and Your Kids to Ice Cream With a Cop

In an effort to reach kids and adults alike, James City County Police Department offers Ice Cream With a Cop, a spin-off of Coffee With a Cop, but for kids. Ice Cream With a Cop aims to bridge relationships between local police officers and kids in a fun and informal environment designed to build trust and friendships.

Join us on Aug. 19, noon-2 p.m. at Bruster’s Ice Cream at 5289 John Tyler Highway for this fun event! Each child 14-years-old and younger will receive a free scoop of ice cream!

When ordering, please wear a mask or stay back 6’ from the window. Attendees are also expected to practice social distancing. If you or child are not feeling well, please stay home; we look forward to seeing you in the future at another event.

If you are interested in hosting an Ice Cream With a Cop event in your neighborhood or at your business, please contact Sgt. Monique Myers at 757-603-6054.
