Virginia Community Capital (VCC) is sponsoring a new webinar series on Thursdays through October. Each session will be from noon until 1 p.m. and is free. The workshops are in partnership with the Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, GENEDGE, UVA-Wise Office of Economic Development and Southwest Virginia Alliance of Manufacturing and are focused around helping businesses recover and become more resilient if faced with another pandemic/disaster.

October 1 – Key Technologies & Cyber Security Needs
This session will review available technology and application resources to assist and will be presented by Jonathan Evenden with Aegis IT Solutions
October 8 – Key Resources, Customer Contacts/Critical Information Storage Options/Backups
October 15 – Risk Management/Evaluation – Transportation/Logistics Included
October 22 – Crisis Communication Plans
This session will help you with developing a crisis communication plan presented by Kathy Still with University of Virginia’s College at Wise.
October 29 – What Your Resiliency Plan Should Look Like…Now What?
