Pools update

Outdoor Pools Reopen
James City County’s two outdoor pools are open for the season. The pools are located at Chickahominy Riverfront Park  and Upper County Park. Due to the continuing impacts of COVID-19, there are new safety operating procedures in place.

Reduced Capacity
First-come, first-served. Chickahominy Riverfront Park can accommodate 60 patrons and Upper County Park 50 patrons. Once capacity has been met, patrons will go on a waiting list and may wait in nearby shelters for their party to be called by staff.

Revised Operating Hours
Weekdays: noon-6 p.m.
Weekends: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

*James City County/Williamsburg

Residents*
Children 5 & younger: Free!
Youth (6-17 years): $3
Adults (18-54 years): $4
Seniors 55+: $3

Non Residents
Children 5 & younger: Free!
Youth (6-17 years): $5
Adults (18-54 years): $6
Seniors 55+: $5

Season Passes
?Season passes can be used at both pools.
?Family season passes are for immediate family living in the same household.
?Passes can be purchased online, at the James City County Recreation Center, Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, Satellite Services in Toano or at the Chickahominy Riverfront Park office.

Residents
Children 5 & younger: Free!
Youth (6-17 years): $28
Adults (18-54 years): $31
Family: $56
Seniors 55+: $28

Non Residents
Children 5 & younger: Free!
Youth (6-17 years): $46
Adults (18-54 years): $46
Family: $84
Seniors 55+: $46

Reminders
? Please help us keep the pools open by following all social distancing guidelines. Guidelines are subject to change based on regular guidance from the Governor of Virginia and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Patrons should wear masks upon entering the pool deck and when ordering concessions. They are not required on the pool deck.
? Free swim is permitted; however, swimmers must be 10-feet apart.
? Deck chairs and tables will be spaced 10 feet apart and sanitized between each use.
? Some amenities remain closed including the splash pad, slides and baby pool. Pool parties and after-hours rentals are not available at this time.
