The James City County Stormwater Program Advisory Committee is currently seeking applications for new members. The Advisory Committee was established by the Board of Supervisors on September 9, 2008 to assist the Board and County staff by identifying stormwater needs, developing goals and priorities, and participating in public education and outreach initiatives related to the County’s stormwater program. The Advisory Committee consists of representatives from each voting district and membership is open to any business or resident of James City County. Prospective members will support the goals and purpose of the stormwater program and be advocates for projects and events within the County.
Members of the Advisory Committee are appointed by the Board of Supervisors for staggered four-year terms. There are no fewer than three and no more than six meetings per year. All interested members of the community are encouraged to visit the website for more information and to apply. Completed applications are due Friday, May 8, 2020.
