The Williamsburg Winery recently announced that their 2018 Petite Fleur received a Gold Medal in the 2020 Winemaker Challenge. For this competition, the entire tasting panel is comprised exclusively of winemakers.
The 2018 Petite Fleur is a blend of 51% Vidal Blanc, 25% Muscat and 24% Traminette. This wine is aromatic and intensely flavored with notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, wildflower honey, gardenia and crème brûlée. A bottle of 2018 Petite Fleur is $29. This wine is available for purchase online and at the Williamsburg Winery gift shop.
In addition to their Gold Medal, the Williamsburg Winery received three Silver Medals.

The Williamsburg Winery is over 50 acres of vineyards, an on-site garden, a hotel and two restaurants, Café Provencal and the Gabriel Archer Tavern all set on Wessex Hundred, a 300-acre farm. The Williamsburg Winery opened in 1988 and is open year round. There are numerous sites on property for group tastings, weddings and private events. Additionally, the Williamsburg Winery hosts a variety of special events throughout the year that are open to the public.
