Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) participants, applicants and landlords are encouraged to attend a public hearing to provide input on the Administrative Plan for the program. The hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 23 at 5 p.m. at the Housing Office, 5320 Palmer Lane, Suite 1A, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188.
The HCV Administrative Plan covers the policies used to govern the administration of the HCV Programs (formerly known as Section 8) and to clarify written policies in accordance with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations regarding matters that are not covered under the HUD regulations but left to local discretion.
The proposed Administrative Plan will be available for review for 45 days beginning Feb. 7 in the James City County Office of Housing, 5320 Palmer Lane, Suite 1A, Williamsburg Virginia 23188, and on the Housing page of the County’s website. For more information, contact Keith Denny at 757-259-5349.
