On Tuesday, Feb. 18, County Administrator Scott Stevens will host the kickoff for Community Conversations, a new series of informal conversations with County residents about their local government. This event will take place at Legacy Hall, 4301 New Town Avenue, at 5:30 p.m.

If you are looking for an opportunity to become a more informed and engaged citizen of James City County, this event is for you. The first Community Conversations session will cover recycling, upcoming election changes, Census 2020, the 2035 Comprehensive Plan update process and more. Come learn about recent developments on these topics, and feel free to ask lots of questions.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to suggest future discussion topics and provide input about the format of the Community Conversations series.

All County residents are invited to participate. Registration is encouraged but not required. Refreshments will be served.
