The Williamsburg Winery recently announced that their 2017 Barrel Aged Virginia Claret received a Gold Medal in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. They also received a Gold Medal for their 2017 Petit Verdot Reserve. For this competition, there were over sixty-five judges, representing various North American wine regions, evaluating nearly 6,700 wines from over 1,000 wineries. This is the largest competition of North American wines.
