James City County is pleased to announce that Williamsburg Drug Company (WDC) has opened a new location at 1310 Jamestown Road. WDC’s Jamestown Road location is a full service pharmacy offering prescriptions, professional nutraceuticals and aromatherapy. The Jamestown Road location is home to the WDC compounding lab, which makes custom medication tailored to an individual’s needs. The WDC compounding lab is the only accredited compounding lab between Chesapeake and Richmond. The compounding lab can also make medicines for pets.

The new Jamestown Road location offers a convenient drive-up window for prescription pick-up and they also offer free delivery.

WDC is owned by TW Taylor. WDC employs eight people at the Jamestown Road location. WDC’s entire staff is dedicated to helping their customers and patients find healthy solutions to all health and wellness needs. Their pharmacists have over 70 years of experience.

WDC’s Jamestown Road location will have a ribbon cutting ceremony in early February.

WDC has been in business since 1895 and has had multiple locations in the Greater Williamsburg area over the years. WDC has an existing location on McLaws Circle that is a full service drugstore and post office.
