EDA logo

At their Aug. 20 meeting, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) revised its remaining 2019 meeting calendar to include a Joint Work Session with the Board of Supervisors on Oct. 22. This meeting will be at 4 p.m. in Building F of the County Government Complex at 101 Mounts Bay Road.

The EDA is a seven-member volunteer board whose members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and serve staggered four-year terms. The Authority’s function is to pursue and comply with the goals and objectives set forth in the Comprehensive Plan; to advise the Board of Supervisors through the County Administrator of any application made by an agent or representative of a prospective facility requesting the Authority to issue bonds; and to advise the governing body of James City County of the potential location of the facility.

For more information about the EDA, please visit the Economic Development website.
