Economic Development is pleased to announce a new initiative to feature County-based businesses in its communications and outreach. Businesses located in James City County are invited to complete an online survey. Submissions will be used to curate content for Economic Development social media pages and other electronic communications.
“We are excited to offer this opportunity to James City County businesses and hope to showcase the diversity of businesses from manufacturers to restaurants and service businesses,” said Christopher Johnson, Director of Economic Development.
Economic Development cannot guarantee that every business who submits the form will be featured, but the department will do its best to include all submissions. Submissions will remain on file indefinitely. Postings will depend on the number of submissions received. Businesses will not be notified if their business is featured, but are asked to monitor the Economic Development social media pages (Facebook and Twitter) and communications to see if a business is featured.
This initiative is not limited to businesses with commercial addresses, but also includes home-based businesses.
