[ARCHIVED] Free All Star Football Clinic Scheduled

James City County’s 5th Annual All Star Football Clinic is set for Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19, 8-11:30 a.m. daily, at Wanner Stadium. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn from local coaches and former players. The free clinics will be held on July 18 (for ages 8-13) and July 19 (for ages 14-18). The Sanford B. Wanner Stadium is located at 4900 Stadium Road, in the Warhill Sports Complex.

Activities on July 18 for patrons age 8-13 years include football instruction that focuses on fundamentals and foundational skills in a positive environment. Youth will be able to participate in skills drills and then break off into game-like situations. On July 19, teens age 14-18 will participate in a combine to test their skills in the 40-yard dash, broad jump, vertical jump and pro shuttle. Participants will receive their scores within two weeks.
