Busch Gardens Williamsburg has been acknowledged as the “World’s Most Beautiful Theme Park” by the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA) for the 29th consecutive year. The park has received this award every year since 1990. NAPHA is an international organization dedicated to the preservation, documentation and enjoyment of the amusement and theme park industry—past, present and future.

“This award exemplifies Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s longstanding commitment to ensuring a world-class guest experience in a beautiful setting,” said Kevin Lembke, park president at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA in their original press release. “I’m so proud of our entire team. They all play a role in achieving this honor.”

Located in James City County, Busch Gardens Williamsburg is an action-packed European adventure theme park with 17th-century charm and 21st-century technology. The European countries of England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy serve as the setting for Busch Gardens’ 100 plus acres of fun. Busch Gardens opened in 1975 and is one of the largest employers in James City County. The park continues to grow including their newest attraction, Finnegan's Flyer, which opened in the spring. Finnegan’s Flyer is an extreme swing ride.
