The Economic Development Authority (EDA) Real Estate Committee has canceled their Thursday, June 13 meeting. There is no new business at this time. The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, July 4, but due to the holiday, it will be rescheduled for Thursday, July 11 from 4-5 p.m.

The Real Estate Committee calendar is available online and is a four-member subcommittee of the EDA.

The EDA is a seven-member volunteer board whose members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and serve staggered four-year terms. The Authority’s function is to pursue and comply with the goals and objectives set forth in the Comprehensive Plan; to advise the Board of Supervisors through the County Administrator of any application made by an agent or representative of a prospective facility requesting the Authority to issue bonds; and to advise the governing body of James City County of the potential location of the facility.
