[ARCHIVED] Police Arrest Student at Warhill High School with a Loaded Handgun

On May 17 at approximately 11:40 a.m., officers responded to Warhill High School after a student reported to administration that Da’Quan Thomas Ky’Le Williams was in possession of a handgun. A loaded 9mm handgun was located in Williams’ gym bag. Six rounds of ammunition were in the magazine. An additional round was located in Williams’ vehicle. The 19-year-old Warhill High School Senior was taken into custody and has been charged with felony possession of a firearm on school property and felony second offense carrying a concealed weapon. Williams is being held at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail with no bond.
