On Jan. 12, representatives from James City County Police Department and four other law enforcement agencies in Virginia attended a press conference at the Central District Office of the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office (OCME). OCME unveiled eight facial models of unidentified individuals whose remains were found in various locations in Virginia between 1972 and 2014. The remains found in James City County were found on Nov. 11, 1976 along the bank of the York River approximately 10 miles south of West Point.
