[ARCHIVED] May 31 is Motown Night at Jamestown Jams Featuring Trademark

Come and enjoy free live music on Friday, May 31 with Trademark as they perform for Motown Night during Jamestown Jams at Jamestown Beach Event Park.

Trademark features three dynamic lead vocalists supported by a sizzling four piece rhythm section. Their extensive song list is full of great dance music including Motown. Trademark's exciting brand of "sophisticated fun" will have you dancing, singing and clapping your hands from 6:30-8 p.m.

Entrance will open for the concert at 5:30 p.m. Concert will take place on a grassy field within Jamestown Beach Event Park. Admission to Jamestown Jams is free. Parking is free and will be behind the old Jamestown Campground building at 2205 Jamestown Road adjacent to Jamestown Settlement.

The County is pleased to partner with The Arc of Greater Williamsburg (The Arc) for this year’s concerts. The Arc will be selling assorted beer and all proceeds will benefit their local activities and programs. The Arc has proudly served adults with developmental disabilities in our community since 1976. Now in their 43rd year, The Arc serves young adults as they age out of special education at age 22 and continue serving these adults throughout their lives. They provide 8-10 monthly, evening activities, as well as a Day Support Program. Programs and activities also provide respite time for caregivers.

Food from X-Actly Wright Seafood will be available for purchase.

Snacks, picnics and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. All items are subject to inspection prior to entrance. No alcohol or large, plastic coolers are permitted. Pets are not permitted at Jamestown Jams for the safety of all attendees. Only service animals will be permitted entrance to Jamestown Jams. Chairs and blankets are permitted.

Jamestown Beach will remain open to patrons during each concert and will follow its regular operating schedule.
