The James City County Board of Supervisors met on Jan. 4 for their annual organizational meeting to elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman. Michael Hipple will continue to serve as Chairman. John McGlennon was elected Vice Chairman.
Hipple represents the Powhatan District and has served on the Board since November 2013. McGlennon represents the Roberts District and has served on the Board since 1998.
In other business, Current Assistant County Administrator, Adam R. Kinsman, was appointed as the Interim County Attorney. Kinsman is a licensed attorney who has previously served as the Deputy County Attorney (2005-2007) and the Interim County Attorney (November 2014-June 2015).
