[ARCHIVED] No home is more affordable than the one you already own

Are you an independent senior homeowner who is finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with routine home repairs? Are you someone who is assisting aging parents with their home maintenance while also managing your own household? Are you a mobile homeowner or a first-time homeowner facing the challenges of home maintenance and repairs? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these, James City County’s Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) wants to hear from you.

No home is more affordable than the one you already own. Home rehabilitation is the most cost-effective way to help people maintain homeownership and quality of life. Your feedback will help OHCD seek funding to assist homeowners who need help with home rehabilitation.

There are two opportunities to participate: attend a focus group at 2 p.m. or 6 p.m. on Jan. 11 at the James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Rd. or complete the survey online.
