[ARCHIVED] Billsburg Brewery Hosts Brand New Event

Billsburg Brewery (Billsburg) is hosting the first Pilsner Invitational on Saturday, April 6 from 1-5 p.m. at its brewery located at 2054 Jamestown Road. Sixteen breweries will be participating in the event, which is dedicated to pilsners and the pilsner style of beer. Each participating brewery will be announced closer to the event.

A pilsner is a type of pale ale and was first brewed in Plzeň (Pilsen), a city in the Czech Republic in 1842. Pilsners are delicate, crisp, clean and refreshing and feature the finest German malt and hops.

Tickets may be purchased online for $20 and will be $25 at the door on the day of the event.
