As part of the Housing Conditions Study, James City County’s Office of Housing and Community Development, in partnership with the Virginia Tech Center for Housing Research, is seeking public input.
Citizens are invited to attend public meetings on any of the following dates:
• Oct. 19, 6:30 p.m., James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Rd.
• Nov. 14, 3:30 p.m., James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Rd.
• Nov. 16, 6:30 p.m., Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, 8901 Pocahontas Trl.
Each meeting will last approximately one hour. Seniors, young professionals and mobile home residents are especially encouraged to attend.
The goal of the Housing Conditions Study is to determine the physical condition of the County’s single family housing stock. This is a three-part study, including field assessments, an online survey and public meetings.
