James City County’s Office of Neighborhood Development will hold a public hearing on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Human Services Building located at 5249 Olde Towne Road, to solicit public input on the proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) proposal to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for the 2019 Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation. The 2019 Scattered Site Housing Rehabilitation will include the following activities: Rehabilitation of Owner Occupied Homes in James City County.
The draft CDBG proposal will be presented for comment along with information on projected beneficiaries, including the number of low- and moderate-income residents to benefit from the proposed project, and plans to minimize displacement. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to comment on James City County past use of CDBG funds.
