[ARCHIVED] Police Attempt to Identify Suspects in Shoplifting and Assault Incident

Shoplifting suspects

On Jan. 26 at approximately 4 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shoplifting in progress at True Religion Outlet at Williamsburg Premium Outlets. The manager reported returning to the store and seeing an unidentified male and unidentified female running from the store carrying multiple articles of clothing. She was able to take a picture of the male as he was fleeing and headed towards her. She believes that he saw her take the photo, as he ran at her and attempted to grab her phone. The manager received a scratch on her chest as he struck her.

The two unidentified suspects were seen leaving the area in a silver Ford, possibly a Taurus, with a black bra on the front bumper.

If are able to identify the subjects in these photos or know who may have been involved, please contact Officer Aurelia Woods at 757-253-1800 ext. 1630 or aurelia.woods@jamescitycountyva.gov.
