James City County is pleased to announce that The Drying Co./ThermalTec has been recognized by the National Association of Home Builders as the 2018 NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE) first place winner in the category of Remodeler Safety Program of the Year (less than 50 employees).

“I am so proud of the entire Drying Company team for their commitment to safety. We train and talk about safety often, but it is the commitment and effort of each individual on our team that creates a safe work environment. Congratulations to my team for keeping each other safe!” said Steve Tetreault, owner of The Drying Co./ThermalTec.

The Drying Co./ThermalTec is committed to ensuring a safe environment for all of their employees including weekly training and head to toe personal protective equipment including goggles, gloves, head socks and full body suits. In their 16 years of operation, The Drying Co./ThermalTec has not had an OSHA citation or fatality.

The Drying Co./ThermalTec is located in Toano at 236 Industrial Boulevard, Suite A. Their service area includes the Greater Williamsburg area, Hampton Roads and Richmond. The Drying Co./ThermalTec specializes in commercial and residential home restoration and energy saving services as a full-service insulation contractor. Services include installation of spray foam insulation, blown insulation, radiant barriers and rigid foam. Other services include sealing and insulating crawl spaces, weatherizing and air sealing homes and waterproofing basements.

The Drying Co./ThermalTec has serviced more than 10,000 homes, hospitals, schools and businesses. The Drying Co./ThermalTec currently employs 47 people and anticipates growth in the coming year.
